Yes. Full-sized in-unit washers and dryers are included in our apartment homes at The Sutton, making laundry day as easy and convenient as possible.

Residents set up their own cable and internet service with available local providers, and our leasing team can share the provider options serving The Sutton. For residents who work from home, our business center is equipped with both PCs and Macs.

Our modern kitchens feature stainless steel, ENERGY STAR appliances, including a side-by-side refrigerator, built-in microwave, tall tub dishwasher, and electric range.

They also include granite countertops with an elegant backsplash, an undermount single basin stainless sink, a contemporary faucet with a retractable wand sprayer, custom cabinetry with 42-inch upper cabinets and above-cabinet lighting, and track lighting in the kitchen and dining area. We offer both in-person and live video tours at The Sutton. Tours cannot be scheduled online less than 4 hours in advance, and walk-in tours are welcome during business hours based on our team’s availability. To ensure the best experience, we recommend calling ahead to confirm. You can schedule a tour of The Sutton online or take a 360° virtual tour anytime.
Please note, to tour or lease any of our apartment homes, you must have either a valid U.S.-, Mexico-, or Canada-issued driver’s license or a valid, current passport. We will complete an ID verification in advance of your tour.

There are no furnished apartment homes available at The Sutton; however, we do offer a furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite available for our residents to rent for their visitors. Please contact our leasing team for more details on the guest suite’s pricing and availability.

The Sutton charges various fees associated with each unique lease. You can find a high-level overview of select fees and policies listed below; however, our leasing team will provide a full, itemized cost sheet for the exact apartment home you’re considering before you sign your lease.

The Sutton offers a parking garage for residents, along with reserved garage parking for added convenience. Rates are as follows:

• Unreserved Parking Space (Garage) - $35/Month

The Dweck Customer Service Pledge guarantees that if we haven’t met your expectations within the first 30 days of your lease start, simply provide a 30-day written notice to either 1) transfer to another residence within our community, 2) transfer to another Dweck community, or 3) break your lease (no questions asked and no additional fees).

The Sutton has a dedicated on-site maintenance team. Residents can submit non-emergency maintenance requests through the resident portal, and can call our dedicated resident phone number for emergency maintenance needs.

The Dweck Properties Customer Service Pledge guarantees that during weekdays, any non-emergency maintenance requests, questions, or concerns submitted will receive a personal response within two business days. If we cannot complete the non-emergency maintenance request within two business days, you will be notified of the status and when to expect resolution.

Yes. The Sutton has a dedicated package room, so resident deliveries are accepted and held securely on-site.

At The Sutton, staying home is just as exciting as going out. Residents enjoy three beautifully landscaped courtyards with firepits, a wet bar, seating and entertaining areas, and an outdoor TV, plus a resort-style swimming pool with expansive tanning areas and grilling areas with premium outdoor cooking equipment.

Indoors, you’ll find a home theater with individual plush seats and tables, a modern resident lounge with a bar, communal tables, and a billiards table, and a fully equipped fitness center with Technogym cardio machines, free weights, spin bikes, and individual strength training machines.

Additional highlights include a business center with PCs and Macs, a package room, a parking garage, a controlled access community, high-speed elevators, two spacious bark parks, a pet washing station, picnic areas, and an on-site management and maintenance team dedicated to service excellence. Your pets are welcome at The Sutton, but we do have restrictions that may apply. Each apartment home allows a maximum of two pets. Cats and dogs each require a $500 one-time fee per pet and $60 monthly pet rent. Breed restrictions may apply, so please review the full Dweck Properties pet policy. Residents also enjoy two spacious bark parks and an on-site pet washing station.

Our Woodbridge location is suburban, so most residents find a car useful for everyday errands. That said, shopping, dining, and everyday conveniences at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center and Potomac Mills are only about five to ten minutes away, and our parking garage plus quick access to I-95, Richmond Highway, Route 1, and the Fairfax County Parkway makes getting around the region easy.

Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center is the closest hub for dining and errands, an open-air center anchored by Wegmans with a wide range of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. The Potomac Mills corridor adds dozens more restaurants and everyday retailers just a few minutes further north. Historic Occoquan, a riverside town with boutique shops and waterfront dining, is also a short drive away.

Wegmans at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center is the closest full-service grocery store to The Sutton, just minutes away. Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, and Walmart are all nearby in the Potomac Mills area for weekly shopping and bulk staples, and Fresh World offers international and specialty groceries close to home.

Potomac Mills Mall, one of Virginia’s largest outlet destinations, is about five to ten minutes from The Sutton and features name-brand outlet shopping, dining, and entertainment. Nearby you’ll also find Nordstrom Rack, Saks OFF 5TH, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls & HomeGoods, and Ross Dress for Less, plus Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center for everyday retail closer to home.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Woodbridge at Stonebridge offers a dine-in movie experience just minutes away, and AMC Potomac Mills 18 sits right at the mall. For a night out, Round1 and Sky Zone Trampoline Park add bowling, arcade, and family entertainment, while local breweries like Brew Republic Bierwerks and Water’s End Brewery are popular with residents. Washington, D.C. is also within reach by car or VRE for museums, theaters, and landmarks.

Woodbridge offers leafy green spaces and parks, including the nearby Occoquan Bay and Potomac River shoreline. Leesylvania State Park, Featherstone National Wildlife Refuge, Neabsco Regional Park, Rippon Landing Park, and Veterans Memorial Park are all close to The Sutton. At home, our three landscaped courtyards, pool, and picnic areas provide outdoor space for everyone.

The Sutton is in a suburban setting, so most residents find a car helpful for day-to-day errands. For commuting, however, the Virginia Railway Express runs straight into Washington, D.C., and the OmniRide transit center, commuter lots, and local bus stops are all close by, making a car-free commute very practical.

Washington Metro service does not extend to Woodbridge. The closest Metro station is Franconia-Springfield on the Blue Line, roughly a 20-minute drive north on I-95. Most residents commuting into the District use the Virginia Railway Express or OmniRide commuter buses instead, both of which are close to our community.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is roughly a 25- to 35-minute drive from The Sutton via I-95 and the George Washington Memorial Parkway, depending on traffic. Residents can also reach the airport by taking the Virginia Railway Express toward Washington, D.C. and connecting to the Metro.

Potomac Mills Mall is about five to ten minutes from The Sutton. Along with outlet shopping, the area offers abundant shopping centers, restaurants, big-box retailers, and entertainment, so everyday errands and a full day out are both close to home.

• The professional must live and work in the same county/city as our community

Yes. The Sutton is an active participant in the Military Rental Partnership Program (RPP), which means that we offer a 5% military discount to active-duty individuals who qualify through participating bases and defense organizations. The program may include waived security deposit, application, and credit check fees, subject to location- and organization-specific participation guidelines. Be sure to ask about our active duty military specials when you reach out to our leasing team!

Absolutely. The Sutton is proud to be home to many active duty service members, military families, DoD civilians, and contractors. Marine Corps Base Quantico is a short drive south on I-95, and Fort Belvoir is just north of our community, both typically within 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic and gate access. For those assigned to the Pentagon, the VRE and direct highway access keep the commute easy.  The Sutton is an active participant in the Military Rental Partnership Program (RPP), which means that we offer a 5% military discount to active-duty individuals who qualify through participating bases and defense organizations. 

Qualifying military situations (such as active duty, deployment, change of duty station, reservist or National Guard activation, voluntary enlistment, draft, or release from active duty) allow early lease termination consistent with SCRA protections, without lease termination fees or concession payback charges when documentation is provided. Foreign Service members and Diplomats can request additional lease-break accommodations through the leasing team.
